About the Access Virus TI

The Virus TI is a hardware synthesizer designed for Total Integration into PC or Mac-based studios. It connects via a single USB connection, handling MIDI data and up to 4 stereo audio streams. The unit can also function as a computer soundcard and MIDI interface.

Features

  • The hardware can be fully integrated into a PC or Mac-based studio via the VirusControl ™ plug-in (VSTi or Apple Audio Unit).
  • By means of a single USB connection, the TI handles communication of all the MIDI data and up to 4 stereo audio streams.
  • The studio-grade audio convertors allow the Virus TI to be used as your computer’s soundcard.
  • External audio signals can be processed via the balanced analog inputs or S/PDIF I/O.
  • The external MIDI ports can be used as a MIDI interface for controlling external hardware.
  • VirusControl is a VSTi or AudioUnit plug-in that runs in your sequencer host, acting as a software representation of your Virus TI.
  • Remote mode is fully functional in standalone mode.
  • There are 32 locations in the TI for storing remote control templates.
